Browser-Safe Color Palette is the actual palette that Mosaic, Netscape, and Internet Explorer use within their browsers. It is slightly different on Macs and PCs. It is based on math, not beauty. It only contains 216 colors out of a possible 256 because the remaining 40 colors vary on Macs and PCs. It is optimized for cross-platform use. It is useful for flat-color illustrations, logos with flat-color, and areas in any image that have a lot of a single color.
Is it still relevant in today’s context? Why?
No. Few computer users view the web in 256 colors anymore. It limits your choices to 216 colors.
But it is still relevant to a certain way because most people don’t have a lot of color picking confidence, and working with limited color choices is easier.
What are the common fonts face found on PC & Mac?
They are Arial, Courier New, Times New Roman, Verdana, Arial and Georgia.
What is page loading time and how it influence your design?
It is the time it takes for your page to render after it is requested. The life cycle of a page is straight forward. No matter how great your website design looks, if it loads too slowly visitors are unlikely to stick around and wait for it to load. Visitors will have the best experience when they don’t have to wait a long time for the pages to load. Fast page loading time will attract more visitors. I have read from a website which showed 12 ways to decrease page loading time of pages.

After reading the article, i think it is considered a good website which i had learn from the previous web design homework. The page loading time is fast and the contents of the article are nicely organised as they are kept short and sweet with the important and relevant contents instead of being long winded with unimportant contents. It also includes some links for people who want to know more about certain contents. The contents are very well organised as they are organised step by step so this will be easily understand by us instead of confusing us with disorganised contents. I think this article is useful and have a lot of information about Web Design Workflow and Process Comparison. It is good that the author shared his own personal experience and he also shared his analysis which is useful and may be a help to others. Overall, i think this article is useful and does help a lot, and as a visitor, i think i will be attracted to it.
